Maybelline Super stay Foundation

I have been trying out th New super stay foundation from maybelline, and since I had a great experience with their Matte + Poreless I figured I'd like this one as well. And let me tell you it's definitely not the $11.99 I paid for it at Walgreen's. While it has sunscreen which is awesome I didn't like the light to medium coverage the product gave, and of course it gave slightly white/pale undertone once I applied. If you're an oily girl like I am this needs to be worn with a REALLY good mattifying primer otherwise it's just going to disappear in all your oily areas. Also, if you have fine line enlarge pores, pimples etc it will accentuate them. I felt as if every imperfection on my face stood out a great deal. Last but NOT  least the pump yep! There is one on this foundation and it in my opinion is the greatest selling point for this is drugstore.
Hopefully this entry helps someone out there & thanks for reading...xoxo A.

Get the look. Zoe S.

While strolling through Walgreens one day I came upon a great magazine cover of one of my favorite actresses. None other than Zoe Saldana. She was rocking a vibrant yet neutral face featuring a gorgeous pop of reddish coral lipstick and great glowy skin. I find this look to be so simple fresh, pretty and best of all you can do it on a budget I didn't need to go out purchase to anything to attempt this look.

Dollar Tree haul

Hello everyone just thought I would show you my latest addiction. I'm sure everyone has been to a dollar store however the dollar tree is a different story, it's to my understanding a lot of you aren't interested and have NEVER been to the dollar tree before. I can't tell you why I am so infatuated with this store a lot of the products are hit or miss but it's only a dollar (but don't get too carried away dollars add up fast). For instance, the 2 candles in the photo are both wood craft candles the light purple one is a really pretty soft lavender like smell and the green granny Smith candle is not very scented at all and in fact stoped holding a flame after a few days.
And BTW the dollar tree is a great store if you're interested in craft projects as well.I also love the cups, mugs(shown), and dishes there for the Spring so I think it's worth a trip to look around. Thanks. A.

clinque 2 n 1 Foundation

I have been LOVING this clinque foundation I got a few months ago. I wasn't going to do a review about because they're everywhere people love it and so do I. It wasn't obnoxiously over priced like some department store foundations are (you know which ones I am talking about) it's amazing. I have troubled skin so don't really care to throw large amounts of money at hiding that I'd rather spend that $ on getting my skin naturally nice looking.
This foundation was about $30 and it's worth every cent it's great at hiding imperfections for example I have pitted acne scars, hyperpigmentation, large pores and excess oily. With this foundation only I can easily conceal all of those problems except my pitted scars but with a good primer even that is concealed. I wear the foundation with Milk of Magnesia and porefessional by BENEFIT and it looks great and will last hours depending on my activities that day. If you're out running errands I'd say at least a good 6 hours if you're walking around a campus a lot of your day wear your favorite powder. Another great thing is it never looks cakey with a powder as you would expect from full/med coverage foundations. Hope you found this helpful try it and let me know if love it or if you hate thanks for reading... A.

Blushed Nudes by Maybelline REVIEW

Hey guys just thought I would share my thoughts on this new drugstore palette with the everyone. So it cost about $10-$12 which is not a bad price in the days of $17 dollar drugstore setting sprays. I believe this is definitely a "you get what you pay for" type of product. The original Maybelline Nudes palette I know was Not very pigmented which I will say the same for this particular palette as well. If you're looking for a subtle smokey eye that will still be noticeable you might enjoy blushing nudes. Because of the lack of pigment in the shadows you can easily blend away some of the colors completely. Just be aware and 're apply if necessary.  I also feel like I would LOVE a mirror on the palette because I think that one great thing about it is, it's travel friendly. It's small thin and seems durable as high-end packages. If you're the guy or girl who loves a bolder brighter eye look you should use a setting spray with the shadows. Alone I don't see the shadows being very bold especially on deeper skin tones so I would recommend a primer and if needed a light colored base on your lids. Long story short, I personally think the palette is workable it's not mind-blowing or life changing but if you're on a budget and are going to an event it is a pretty good option.  I do LOVE LOVE LOVE the Milani Bella e/s and would much suggest that as an optimal option. :)

Thanks 4 reading,
A.

Jordana Modern Mattes

Recently while at Walgreen's I spotted these babies. They were pretty much sold out but I got a few colors I thought I could work with. They are priced for about $2.99 and that's the best selling point of the product in my opinion. I would STRONGLY recommend exfoliating the lips before wearing them as they will sink into lines and can become difficult to work with. They are a very matte not the most matte I've experienced from the drugstore but very matte with a very slight shine as it dries. They are very opaque but again not the most opaque I've seen at the drugstore. Which brings me to say this I wouldn't recommend or repurchase b/c I know wet N' Wild and Ruby Kisses (BSS) are a lot better and are around the same price. Hope that was helpful Xoxo...A!!
