Wow so I just realized these lacquer swatches look like paint or nail polish even. So obviously if you enjoy bright extremely pigmented lips you'll be drawn to these. The price is great at $3.99/each, so if you're a beauty on budget like me check out your local BSS for these. If you're looking for something with staying power these lacquers won't give you hours of wear time, they will smear like nobody's business if you're careful. The application process for the lighter colors particularly the yellow was some what difficult it was kind of hard to evenly distribute the yellow over my lips. Idk why. The darker and brighter colors were a breeze to apply.
this formula is not as thick & sticky as I thought it would have been but keep in mind a little bit goes a long way. If you're looking for a high gloss product the lighter colors aren't very shiny. I only purchased four but there were about 7 total color to pick from. There were naturals, deeps, and of course the bright colors. they all were really pretty but the other colors look like colors I already own so I didn't purchase any of them. All of them give great pigmentation on my lips my favorite are the Bubble gum pink and the orange coral. The orange coral is like a great spring time red it is bright with orange undertones, and the pink is the traditional bright Barbie pink which blended really well with my skin tone surprisingly. The yellow was kind of weird for me but to each their own. And the Aruba blue was awesome and edgy you could pull off a gorgeous high fashion futuristic punk rock etc. look using it. These colors were fun to play around and experiment with and they're inexpensive so it's worth it especially for the Spring/Summer seasons plus they photograph like a dream. Xoxoxo Amanda.
