I recently have been really into DIY beauty services and decided to wax my own brows @ home instead of the salon. I always left the salon only slightly satisfied with the out come. They were always too thin for my face even when I asked to leave them to keep their natural thickness.
My eyebrows are thicker in the front and kind of thin and sparse at the ends. So I really had my work cut out for me. Since I've already had them waxed in the past I was able see the shape of them and use that as my guide. The process was a lot easier than I thought. Taking tiny sections and simply combing the hair straight up made it easy for me to wax the stray hairs underneath.
The kit I used was from sally's it cost me about $16 and everything included can be bought separately. Its made for sensitive skin and all I had to do is microwave the wax for about 40 seconds. I was expecting the wax to be a lot hotter than it actually turned out to be it never really got hot to the touch which is great because the hair still came off without me getting burned by the wax. I like the wax however I would definitely recommend practicing on someone else before doing your own just to get some sort of technique going on. Also, its a bad idea to wax the same area repeatedly I'd say once is enough. It will leave a scab. But don't worry if you missed some you can pluck them after.
